Dying: The Final Act of Living

The pain of saying goodbye to a loved one is almost too much to bear. The grief of watching your loved one go through the dying process is compounded by not understanding what is actually happening physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

On Saturday, November 4 at 10:30 a.m., Messiah will be showing a short video that will demystify the dying process, leaving you with a sense of calm in the face of what most of us regard as a terrifying and unknown state.

“Fear blocks us from experiencing the beauty of being present during the final life experience. Everyone dies. It is an important life moment for all of us. Sharing that moment is a very special gift.” ~Barbara Karnes

Paula Campagna will be presenting this video, done by Barbara Karnes, an educator and hospice nurse with 40 years’ experience. The video is a beautiful piece that gives us a different perspective on dying. It can bring peace to those who are still struggling with a loved one’s passing, to those who are experiencing this now, and to ANYONE who is afraid of dying. Take the time to see this; you will leave feeling blessed.

You can register on the card ministry table at church, or fill out the form below to send your information directly to Paula’s e-mail inbox.
