He is risen! Easter Worship

Join us for in-person Easter worship! Weather permitting, we will be holding services outside the church building at 8 and 10 AM on Sunday, April 4. Bring your lawn chair or stay in your car and listen over the radio!

We will be following CDC guidelines on masks and distancing, but we are excited to have everyone gather together. We invite your family to come and enjoy a beautiful service. Services will also be broadcast live on Zoom (https://messiahevents.com/zoom) and YouTube Live (https://messiahevents.com/YouTubeLiveWorship) regardless of the weather.

We’d love to see you–in person or online!

Advent 3: Christmas Cookies

Who would Jesus bake cookies for?

On the third weekend in Advent, December 15th & 16th, we will put together trays of cookies for those who don’t have that luxury this holiday. Can you imagine being homeless, or having to hide out, or living in a home with people who are not your own family during the holidays? Jesus would bake cookies for those who otherwise are forgotten. So, let’s be His hands and make some cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, Christmas bark, whatever your family’s favorite is and we’ll put together abundant trays just for these, whom Jesus loves.  Bring your offerings with you when you come to worship. Some of us can put the trays together after each service and we’ll make sure they get to the different groups during the week.

Holy Week Prayer Labyrinth

For centuries, churches have used labyrinths for prayer and meditation. Now you can experience one in Messiah’s fellowship hall. Through prayer, walk the path set out before you to the center of the labyrinth where you meditate on the presence of God. Having had that experience, you travel the path back out of the labyrinth symbolically back out into the world. A suggested guided prayer will be available for your use.

This is meant to be a solitary experience. The labyrinth will be available from 2-5 PM on the following dates:

  • Sunday, March 25
  • Thursday, March 29
  • Friday, March 30
