Lenten Midweek Worship at Messiah occurs each Wednesday (February 25, March 4, 11, 18, & 25). After a simple Soup Supper in the fellowship hall at 6:30, we move to the sanctuary for a brief worship, Compline or Prayer at the Close of the Day at 7:30.
The theme of this year’s midweek worship is “Master and Models of Prayer.” St. Ignatius Loyola, Martin Luther, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the Greek Orthodox Church’s Jesus Prayer, the Roman Catholic church’s Lectio Divina are among the variety and richness of people and prayers that will be shared.
