MenWill

MenWill is an event for men to learn how to help change the culture of domestic violence. It’s an outgrowth of the Men Can (Prevent Domestic Violence) program sponsored by Lutheran Settlement House. We hope that by reaching an audience of faith-centered men of all age groups, we can begin to halt the epidemic of violence which affects many women in our society. February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness month, and this important issue will also be addressed.

The event includes a fellowship hour, a series of speakers, an expo of community resources centered around violence prevention, and a luncheon. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Dan K. Williams, Senior Pastor of New Life In Christ Fellowship in Coatesville and recently-elected member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

MenWill is open to all community members, and we especially hope that adult men and young adult males will be heavily represented. If your church sponsors a men’s or a teen’s group, please encourage them to attend.
