This year’s Blessing of the Animals event will be held on Saturday, October 15, from 10:00 AM to noon in the fellowship hall. Pastor will welcome you and bless your pet(s). We’ll have raffles and pet photos, too! All proceeds will benefit Brandywine Valley SPCA (formerly Chester County SPCA). BVSPCA is the first Pennsylvania no kill, open admission shelter.
We will start collecting items for BVSPCA from September 17th through Sunday, October 16th at noon (the day after The Blessing of the Animals). The SPCA has a long wish list which includes: wet and dry food for dogs and cats, soft dog treats, cat litter, towels, sheets, blankets, and washable dog and cat toys. For a complete list, see the BVSPCA’s Wish List on their website. Please drop off your donations in our marked boxes next to Lord’s Pantry donation box.
